Kindergarten Readiness Program
It's time to ready, set, READ! KCS is pleased to offer the Kindergarten Readiness Program for children turning 4 or 5 in 2024. Through engaging devotions, arts and crafts, worship, games and stories, your child will be challenged to begin an exciting and life-long reading and writing journey!
Every Friday in April, 9 - 11:30 am.
The cost is $100 ($40 for KCS families). Maximum of 15 students.

Kindergarten
- The Christian Kindergarten must be respectful of the children it hopes to educate.
- Young children learn best when programming meets their developmental needs.
- Young children must develop knowledge, skills and attitudes that prepare them for later learning.
- Young children with special needs, through early intervention, can develop knowledge, skills and attitudes that prepare them for later learning.
- Young children need to build a common set of experiences with others.
-Parents must have an opportunity for meaningful involvement in the education of their young children.

Inside KCS, you’ll notice that natural light pours in the large and numerous windows — and many of these windows overlook green space. Walking through the hallways, you’ll find students happily learning in nine full-size classrooms plus a double-sized kindergarten room. The school also features a dedicated visual arts classroom, a library, regulation-sized gymnasium, full kitchen, a networked computer lab on a cart with continuous Internet connection and a large playground and soccer field. KCS is surrounded by Woodbine Park, a city-owned green space with additional playground structures, splash pad, baseball diamonds and soccer fields.
